If you are shipping or selling products in California, you will be effected by the new Proposition 65 regulations.
Even if your business currently labels products with a Prop. 65 warning, the new regulations will require a determination of whether to use the truncated short-form warning label or the full warning label on each product. If the full warning will be used, each product will need a specific label identifying at least one of the chemicals identified from OEHHA’s Prop 65 list.
Prop. 65 Can Be Costly
Regulations take effect beginning August 30, 2018. For companies purchasing labels in bulk, failing to act could result in added expense from significant waste of obsolete inventory.
Brandywine Can Help with On-demand Printing
With on-demand printing, you can print small batch labels when you need them for products you sell or ship to California. Why continue to replace your entire inventory?
On-demand label printing allows for enhanced planning and flexibility, while the risk of incorrect warning labels is all but eliminated.
